Abacus Automation was incorporated in 1985 and is celebrating its twentieth year of operations. What began as garage based business between Don Alvarado and "Dixie" Zens in their spare hours has grown to a company of over 40 employees working in a modern facility. The staff was gradually increased over the years as the workload required, establishing a sound future for it’s employees.

Abacus maintains a broad customer base to prevent getting backed into an economic corner; this keeps work flowing while some industries may be struggling through slow times.
